Local Florist Delivers Flowers to Buková u Příbramě

Buková u Příbramě lies about 8 km north-west of Příbram. The first written record of the village dates to 1336. At the time, it belonged to the Pičín estate of the Bavor family of Strakonice.

A Baroque chateau dating from the mid-18th century stands in the village. The chapel of St Sigismund dates from 1888. In Malá Buková, near Buková u Příbramě, there is a partisan memorial dating from April 1945. The village is also home to a freedom lime tree planted in 1920.
